In 1987, COW began with a simple but powerful mission: to develop young men of character, courage, and commitment.
Forty years later, that mission continues — strengthened by thousands of alumni, dedicated volunteers, generous supporters, and families who believed in the vision.
On July 11, 2026, we will gather as one community to celebrate where we’ve been, honor those who paved the way, and look ahead to the next 40 years.

The Weekend Experience
James River Canoe Trip
Saturday | 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Start the day the COW way — on the water. Participants will navigate the James River together, building teamwork, resilience, and reflection before joining the reunion celebration. This optional experience embodies the spirit of challenge and growth that has defined COW for 40 years.

40th Anniversary Reunion Celebration
Saturday | 3:00–7:00 PM | Crockett Farm
Gather under the tent with alumni, current students, families, volunteers, and supporters for an afternoon of reconnection and celebration. The program will include legacy reflections, recognition of key contributors, fellowship, and a ceremonial welcome of the 2026 COW cohort. This milestone event honors the past while looking ahead to the next generation of leaders.
Horse Interaction
Sunday | 4:00–7:00 PM
The weekend concludes with a guided horse interaction experience at Crockett Farm. Through hands-on engagement and reflection, participants explore leadership, communication, and trust — core values at the heart of COW’s mission.
Supporters and families are welcome to observe and continue fellowship during this time.
